Hoy en el trabajo tuve que hacer un curso antincendio. Cuatro horas escuchando todo lo que se puede decir sobre el fuego y cómo no morir quemado. Siempre me costó mucho concentrarme, mi cabeza es mucho más poderosa que mis oídos, así que todo el tiempo me descubro pensando en otras cosas. De todas las cosas que pensé hoy, hubo una que me tuvo distraída por mucho rato: ¿qué salvaría de mi casa si mi casa se prendiera fuego?
Lo primero que quiero llevarme conmigo son todos mis libros ya leídos, porque para mí leer un libro más que leer es escribir, dibujar, rayar y subrayar. Mis libros recién se transforman en mis libros después de que los leo. A los libros los cambio, los tacho, los rompo, los reescribo, me meto en las manos de los artistas, en el alma de los poetas, me transformo yo en poeta y escritora aunque sea por un ratito.
